Here is how government clients can access our services. You need to prepare and send your contracting officer a letter that contains the following information:

  • A description of the work to be performed
  • An estimate of the period of performance
  • The NAICS code that applies to the principal nature of the procurement
  • The anticipated dollar value of the requirement, including options
  • Any restrictions or geographic limitations on the requirement
  • The type of contract to be awarded, such as firm fixed price, cost reimbursable, or time and materials
  • A statement that prior to the offering no solicitation for the specific acquisition has been issued as a small business set-aside, or as a small disadvantaged business set-aside if applicable, and that no other public communication (such as a solicitation in www.fedbizopps.gov) has been made showing the procuring activity's clear intent to use any of these means of procurement;
  • Include a brief justification for the nomination of MIDEGO as the candidate for the contracting officer to nominate the award of the sole source 8(a) contract as appropriate. For example:
    • a. MIDEGO, through its own efforts, has marketed the requirement and caused it to be for the 8(a) small business development program, or whether
    • b. The acquisition is a follow-on or renewal contract and MIDEGO is the incumbent Contract Execution. The contracting officer at your agency may make direct award of a contract to MIDEGO, the 8(a) SBA participant, but only after the requirement has been offered to and accepted by the SBA.
