First, we provide public health and development consulting services and products to help reach the Millennium Development Goals. We believe that the lack of technical knowledge and management support is the main gap in reaching the Millennium Development Goals. Therefore, we specialize in developing affordable and simple yet powerful tools and approaches to bring the required knowledge to those that need it the most. Our online coaching programs make up to date technical knowledge and assistance affordable and easily available, just a keystroke away! Our "virtual consulting" services allow our clients to get the help they need within 24 hours or less.
Second, we have specialized in products and services to strengthen three processes that are crucial in delivering successful solutions in health and development: program and project design, start-up assistance, and monitoring and evaluation. Here is how we work: first, with the right tools, MIDEGO designs programs and projects so staff are ready to perform, activities match objectives and implementation runs smoothly without outside assistance. And when public health or development needs change, which often happens, project staff can use MIDEGO's tools also to fine-tune or adjust a program or project. Second, being the most delicate period in a new project or program, MIDEGO has developed a number of start-up assistance tools to ensure projects and programs start right, scale up at the right pace and staff gain confidence so that the impact of their performance is multiplied. After a start-up period of three months, all processes and roles and responsibilities are in place and progress indicators on track. And finally, Monitoring and Evaluation is also an area where MIDEGO excels. We have unique tools and approaches and an experienced team of staff and consultants that have worked in almost all countries.

In fact, the word "MIDEGO" is made out of the first two letters of these words to mark our commitment to our global public health and development agenda.
Second, as a result of being a "hybrid" organization, a business with social goals, our work at MIDEGO is designed to provide our clients with services and products that create economic, social, cultural and environmental value, our four bottom lines. First MIDEGO is not a non-profit organization because it was designed to deliver affordable and cost-effective products and services that reach economic goals. Second, our economic goals allow MIDEGO to meet our corporate social goals which is to sponsor girls to get equal access to high school and college education. Third, MIDEGO's services and products are designed and delivered in a way that respects and celebrates our global cultural diversity and spiritual beliefs. And fourth, we respect and protect the environment and strive to minimize our impact on the resources of our planet. Most of MIDEGO's staff work in their "virtual" offices and have flexible hours to avoid commutes. This also keeps overhead costs low and maximizes staff's personal and family life.
